Castanet Embroidery is a large-scale pattern embroidered onto a linen and cotton ground, its intricate motifs recalling the folk textiles of Mexico and Central Asia—Otomi work and suzanis in particular. The design has both drama and folkloric warmth, the hand-stitched quality giving each piece a craft presence in the room.
Made in India on a linen and spun cotton base, it is 132 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 40 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 66 centimetres. The embroidered surface suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and dry cleaning is recommended. It is offered in five colourways.
