Castille Tape is a corded embroidery worked on a cotton faille ground, the cords forming a graphic stripe that reads crisply against the plain weave beneath. The design has a formal, architectural character—clean-edged and rhythmic—and the contrast between the raised cord and the flat ground gives it presence without weight.
Made in India from cotton and viscose, it is 7.6 centimetres wide with a 2-centimetre vertical repeat and a 1-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. Available in nine colourways, it suits upholstery, curtains and cushions where a tailored, linear trim is called for.
