Schumacher | Chamula Pillow

The Chamula cushion features intricate embroidery by a collective of Maya women weavers in the highlands of Chiapas, Mexico, using the traditional backstrap loom technique. The handmade nature of the work means slight variation in colour, pattern and size, each piece individual.

Made in Mexico from 100% cotton, it measures 51 centimetres square and is finished with hand-stitched sides and a plush feather insert. Dry cleaning is recommended. The embroidered jacquard weave creates a striped pattern with depth and texture, suited to interiors where craft and provenance matter.
