Chaplin is a jacquard in which a chevron pattern is treated with a special finish that gives it the soft, graduated tones of watercolour, so the geometry acquires an almost painterly quality. The effect is both graphic and gentle, the pattern clear but not hard-edged.
Woven in Italy from viscose and polyester, it is 136 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 9 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 6 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in four colourways.
