Schumacher | Charmant

Charmant is a tone-on-tone stripe in which embroidered lines are worked onto a linen ground, so the pattern has a subtle, textural presence rather than a printed flatness. The stripes are narrow and evenly spaced, giving the cloth a quiet rhythm that suits rooms where pattern is wanted but not insisted upon.

Made in India from linen with polyester, it is 135 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of two centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 22 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is a drapery-weight cloth suited to curtains, blinds and sheer layering, where the embroidered detail catches light without competing for attention.
