Checkered Stripe Sisal is a small-scale horizontal stripe printed by hand onto a textured sisal ground, the woven base adding depth and irregularity to the linear pattern. The design works equally well in traditional and contemporary settings, with the natural variations intrinsic to the hand-printing process.

Printed in the United States on Haruki Sisal, it is 86 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 48 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 86 centimetres, sold by the metre from 3.656-metre rolls. Vacuum to clean. It suits walls where a textured stripe is wanted without strong contrast.
