Checkmate is a small three-colour woven check inspired by a vintage woman's suit, the scale diminutive enough to read almost as texture rather than pattern. The cloth is both sturdy and unusually soft to the touch, making it as practical as it is easy to live with.
Woven in Italy from a blend of cotton, viscose, linen and polyester, it is 141 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 3 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 4 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in four colourways.
