Chenonceau is based on a documentary print that itself derives from a seventeenth-century Persian damask, the design featuring silhouettes of flora and fauna in a pattern that balances formality with a certain enchantment. The motifs read clearly against the ground, and the design is also available as a wallcovering.
Printed and woven in Belgium on 100% linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 56 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is offered in a wide range of colourways.
