Schumacher | Chiang Mai Dragon Velvet

Chiang Mai Dragon Velvet takes a chinoiserie dragon motif, drawn originally from an Art Deco print, and renders it onto cotton velvet so the design shifts with the pile as light moves across it. The pattern is large and scenic, and the velvet ground gives it both depth and a certain theatrical presence. It is also available as a wallcovering.

Printed in the United Kingdom onto a blend of 88% cotton and 12% polyester, the fabric is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 116 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 69 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and the velvet construction adds weight and richness to whichever application is chosen. The design is offered in several colourways.
