Chimay Stripe Velvet layers velvet stripes of varying widths with a subtle strié effect, and a fine diamond jacquard woven into the ground adds a second, quieter pattern beneath. The velvet pile catches light differently across each stripe, so the design shifts as you move around it, while the jacquard detail rewards closer inspection.

Woven in Italy from viscose with a small proportion of another fibre, this ready-made cushion measures 61 centimetres wide by 30 centimetres high, finished with a knife edge, a feather and down insert, and a concealed zip. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits sofas, chairs and beds where a textured stripe and considered detail are wanted.
