Chinois Palais takes an antique Chinese silk panel as its source and reproduces the original at full scale: exotic birds perched among flowering cherry branches, printed across linen in a design that reads as a single composed scene rather than a repeating motif. The imagery has the clarity and detail of hand-painted decoration.
Printed in Italy on 100% linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 334-centimetre vertical repeat and a 137-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in a wide range of colourways.
