Chinois Palais Panel, designed by Mary McDonald, takes inspiration from an antique Chinese silk hanging, depicting exotic birds and cherry blossoms across a grand scenic composition. The design unfolds over a 366-centimetre vertical repeat, so each panel reads as a complete decorative statement, the imagery scaled for rooms with height and presence.
Printed in the United States on a 131-centimetre width, it is sold by the panel at just under 3.7 metres in length, with the horizontal repeat matching the full width. Spongeable and suited to wallcovering, it is available in fifteen colourways. The same design is also offered as a fabric.
