Chinois Palais Vinyl Panel takes its cue from an antique Chinese silk, setting exotic birds among cherry blossom branches against a stippled ground in blush. The composition reads as a continuous scene rather than a repeating motif, so each panel unfolds like a hand-painted screen. Designed by Mary McDonald, it brings the narrative quality of historic chinoiserie to contemporary walls.

Made in the United States as a vinyl wallcovering, each panel measures 124 centimetres wide and 3.656 metres in length, with a vertical repeat of 366 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 119 centimetres. It is washable and sold by the panel. The design is available in several colourways.
