Schumacher | Chinoiserie Appliqué

Chinoiserie Appliqué is a sew-on motif derived from a traditional Chinese interlocking design, rendered as a flat, graphic form that can be applied to plain cloth to add pattern and detail. The design is 20 centimetres square, so it reads as a considered accent rather than an all-over repeat, and it brings a sense of craft and finish to otherwise unadorned pieces.

Made in India from linen and viscose, it has a 20-centimetre square repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits cushions, curtains and upholstered pieces, and is available in two colourways.
