Chinoiserie Moderne takes the scenic conventions of traditional chinoiserie and simplifies them into a more graphic, modern composition. The design is handprinted, which gives it an artisan quality that sits comfortably in both period and contemporary rooms, and the 91-centimetre vertical repeat allows the scene to unfold at a generous scale.
Printed in Belgium on a blend of 55% linen and 45% cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 69-centimetre horizontal repeat. Machine washable. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
