Chuska Warp Print is a warp-printed ikat in which figurative horses, birds and flowers mingle across the cloth, the motifs blurred at their edges in the way true warp printing delivers. The effect is both charming and quietly exotic, the imagery readable but softened, so the pattern sits comfortably rather than insisting.
It is printed in India on a jacquard-woven ground of cotton and linen, 138 centimetres wide, with a 74-centimetre vertical repeat and a 46-centimetre horizontal. Wash cold. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery, and is also made as a wallcovering.
