Schumacher | Circo Hand Woven Stripe

Circo Hand Woven Stripe is a cotton stripe woven by hand in Guatemala, and the artisanal process gives the cloth a warmth and irregularity that machine looms cannot replicate. The rhythm of the stripe is confident without being rigid, and the tactile surface has the character of cloth made slowly, one pass at a time.

It is 119 centimetres wide with a horizontal repeat of 39 centimetres, woven entirely from cotton. Dry cleaning is recommended. The hand-woven construction and weight suit it to upholstery and cushions, where the texture and stripe can be read up close and the slight variations in the weave become part of the appeal.
