Cirque Velvet arranges dots into a repeating pattern, but the weave structure and mixed yarns stripe each dot so it reads as texture as much as geometry. The effect is graphic without being flat, and the velvet pile adds depth and a directional quality to the surface.
Woven in the United States from 73 per cent cotton, 15 per cent rayon and 12 per cent polyester, it is 123 centimetres wide with a 31-centimetre repeat in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, and is available in four colourways.
