Schumacher | Clairemont Damask

Clairemont Damask is a traditional woven damask motif printed onto a linen and cotton ground, so the pattern retains the formality and repeat structure of a jacquard but with the flatter surface and colour clarity of a print. The vertical repeat is 91 centimetres, the horizontal 23 centimetres, giving the design a stately, architectural rhythm.

Woven and printed in the United Kingdom from 58 per cent linen and 42 per cent cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide and should be dry cleaned. The cloth suits curtains, Roman blinds, cushions and upholstery where a damask pattern is wanted without the weight or texture of a fully woven cloth.
