Clara Pleated Tape is a plain linen and cotton tape folded into crisp, regular pleats that run the length of the trim. The pleating gives the tape movement and a three-dimensional quality, so it casts small shadows and shifts with the light. It is straightforward in construction but quietly animated in effect.
Made in India, it is ninety per cent linen and ten per cent cotton, four centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is available in several colourways and suits curtains, cushions and upholstered furniture where a soft, textured edge is wanted.
