Schumacher | Clearwater

Clearwater is a wallcovering composed of natural feathers, hand-gathered and applied to form a mid-scale undulating stripe with iridescent lustre. Each panel carries its own variation in texture and light, the feathers catching and diffusing daylight as you move past them, so the surface remains quietly animate.

Made in Taiwan, each panel is 97 centimetres wide and 3.0162 metres in length, with a vertical repeat of 14 centimetres. It should be vacuumed only with a soft brush. The design suits walls where a textural, organic presence is wanted, particularly in rooms where natural light can play across the surface.
