Cloud Toile is a pigment-printed design on silk, the cloud motif given weight and presence by the luminous ground. First introduced in the 1970s, the pattern reads as a scenic toile with a 98-centimetre vertical repeat and 127-centimetre horizontal, so it suits larger cushions or upholstery where the full composition can be seen.
Printed in the United States from silk in a satin weave, it is 134 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits cushions and upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
