Collins uses thick and thin cotton yarns to build a fine ribbed weave with a subtle stripe running through it. The reversible ottoman-like construction gives the cloth dimension and a tactile surface that catches light across its width, so the stripe effect shifts depending on how you approach it.
Woven in India from pure cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of one centimetre and a horizontal repeat of six centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery across a range of applications, and comes in several colourways.
