Schumacher | Colorblock Ikat

Colorblock Ikat is a warp-printed linen with soft, brushstroke-like bands of colour that blur at the edges, giving the cloth a hand-painted quality. The ikat technique produces gentle tonal shifts across the surface, so the pattern reads as much through texture and light as through colour.

Printed in Italy, the cloth is 64 per cent linen and 36 per cent polyester, 147 centimetres wide, with a vertical repeat of 75 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 137 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery and cushions, where the large-scale repeat can be seen to advantage.
