Schumacher | Come Back As a Flower

Come Back As a Flower is drawn from original artwork by Hera Ford, printed onto heavyweight linen so the hand-drawn quality of the flowers remains visible in the finished cloth. The design works at a large scale, the blooms loose and gestural rather than botanical, and the linen base gives the print a natural, uneven ground that suits the informal character of the drawing.

Printed in Italy on pure linen 140 centimetres wide, it carries a 193-centimetre vertical repeat and a 139-centimetre horizontal repeat, so the design needs space to be seen whole. The weight and drape of the cloth make it suitable for upholstery as well as curtains, blinds and cushions. Dry cleaning is recommended.
