Constantine takes a detail from antique embroidery and renders it as a stylised stripe, hand screen-printed in India on a cotton-hemp ground. The jasper colourway and the irregularities inherent in block printing give the fabric a handmade character, tactile and quietly evocative rather than precise.
Woven from equal parts hemp and cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with a 28-centimetre vertical and 46-centimetre horizontal repeat. Cold washing is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and light upholstery, and is part of the Cabana collection.
