Schumacher | Copeland

Copeland is a jacquard-weave wallcovering with a swirling, calligraphic pattern that moves across the surface in continuous, looping lines. The weave gives the design a subtle sheen and dimensional quality, so it catches light differently depending on the angle. The repeat is large – 150 centimetres vertically, 70 horizontally – and the paper is fire-rated for contract use.

It is woven in Italy on a paper backing, 109 centimetres wide, and sold by the metre from rolls just over seven metres long. The paper is spongeable. It suits commercial interiors, hallways and larger residential walls where a textured, abstract pattern with a formal character is wanted.
