Corail Velvet translates a freeform coral motif into cut pile, the pattern neither too formal nor too casual. The velvet's surface catches light unevenly across the design, so the coral structure reads differently depending on angle and illumination, and the 17-centimetre repeat keeps the scale contained.
Woven in Belgium entirely from cotton, it is 137 centimetres wide with a square repeat of 17 centimetres in both directions. Dry cleaning is recommended. It is suitable for upholstery and cushions where the pile's texture and the design's organic geometry can be seen at close range.
