Schumacher | Corcha Hand Woven Stripe

Corcha Hand Woven Stripe is a cotton stripe woven by hand in Guatemala, its rhythm of colour and texture shaped by the artisan rather than the loom. The handwork gives the cloth an irregular, lived-in quality, a warmth and slight variation from selvage to selvage that machine production cannot replicate.

Woven entirely of cotton, it is 119 centimetres wide with a 20-centimetre horizontal repeat. The cloth is made in Guatemala and should be dry-cleaned. It suits cushions and upholstery where its tactile, handmade character can be appreciated at close range.
