Cordoba Embroidery takes its pattern from Moorish tilework, the geometry embroidered onto a linen-rich ground so the motifs sit proud of the cloth with a subtle relief. The design reads as an interlocking chevron or zigzag at 32-centimetre intervals in both directions, and the natural variation in the embroidery thread and ground cloth gives each length a hand-worked character.
Made in India, it is woven and embroidered from linen, viscose rayon and spun polyester, 128 centimetres wide with a 32-centimetre repeat both vertically and horizontally. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is also available as a wallcovering. The design comes in six colourways.
