Schumacher | Corfu

Corfu draws on the suzani embroideries of Central Asia, its floral medallions and scrolling tendrils worked in chain stitch and other hand techniques over a printed ground. The result is a cloth with both surface texture and the irregularity of handwork, the embroidered details catching light and shadow as they stand proud of the base fabric.

Printed and embroidered in India, it is a blend of polyester, linen and cotton, 135 centimetres wide with a 74‑centimetre vertical repeat and 66‑centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, and pairs with its companion stripe from the same collection.
