Schumacher | Cork Stripe

Cork Stripe sets narrow hand-pieced strips of cork onto paper, the natural texture enhanced by metallic flecks that show through the crazed surface. The stripe is more about rhythm than geometry, the slight irregularities of the cork giving the wall a handmade quality.

Made in South Korea, it is 91 centimetres wide and sold by the metre from 3.656-metre rolls. The surface should be vacuumed only with a soft brush, so it suits walls in low-traffic areas where the cork's texture can be appreciated without risk of damage.
