Cottontails takes its cue from Japanese woodblock prints, reducing rabbits to silhouettes and scattering them across a cotton-linen ground in a small, repeating pattern. The stylised simplicity and compact 17-centimetre repeat give it a modern, graphic edge despite the woodland subject.
Printed in Belgium on a cloth of 75 per cent cotton and 25 per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with both vertical and horizontal repeats of 17 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The sturdy ground makes it suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery in regular domestic use.
