Country Gentleman is a folksy small-scale design inspired by a 1950s pattern from the Schumacher archive, created to mark America's 250th anniversary. Hand-printed with pigment inks onto linen, it has a crisp, dry hand that gives the cloth a natural stiffness well suited to window treatments.
Made in India from pure linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 18 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 27 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
