Crawford Check Tape Medium is a simple woven check inspired by an eighteenth-century fabric used for curtains and valances at Colonial Williamsburg. The check is woven with long floats that give the cloth a soft, slightly irregular surface, and the pattern reads as straightforward and domestic without being fussy. This is the medium width; the design is also available narrower and wider.
Made in India, it is woven almost entirely from linen and is 3 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning only. It suits curtains, cushions and upholstered pieces, and is available in several colourways.
