Crocodile translates the textured hide into an embossed wallcovering with a subtly striped grain running through the pattern. The effect reads as tactile and dimensional rather than literal, the embossing catching light to emphasise the surface relief. At a 29-centimetre vertical repeat, the pattern moves at a comfortable domestic scale.
Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a 14-centimetre horizontal repeat, sold by the roll at 4.57 metres per roll. The surface is spongeable, and the paper is available in several colourways. Suitable for walls where a textured, architectural finish is wanted.
