Cusco Ikat is a faithful reproduction of an archival textile, the woven pattern retaining the characteristic blurred edges and irregularities of the ikat dyeing process. The design speaks to the hand of the maker while reading as quietly contemporary, the kind of cloth that sits comfortably in rooms where craft and restraint are valued equally.
Woven in India from 60 per cent cotton and 40 per cent linen, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 32-centimetre vertical repeat and a 19-centimetre horizontal. It can be cold-washed up to 40 degrees. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in several colourways.
