Custis Embroidered Tape takes its pattern from an eighteenth-century trim, with stylised carnations stitched onto a linen ground. The embroidery has the directness of cross-stitch, and the nine-centimetre width gives the design room to be seen clearly. It brings a historical reference without pastiche, and the floral motif sits comfortably in both traditional and less formal settings.
Made in India from linen, it is designed for curtains, cushions and upholstered pieces. Dry cleaning only. It is offered in four colourways.
