Schumacher | Cyprus

Cyprus is a circa-1936 design by the American textile designer Marion Dorn, revived from the archive. A jacquard weave of doves, Ionic columns and twining ivy, the pattern is rendered with mid-twentieth-century simplicity and a medium scale, the motifs built up in varied textures across the cloth.

Woven in France from linen, viscose, cotton and polyester, it is 138 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 38 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 46 centimetres. Spot cleaning is advised. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
