Dalila Hand-Screen Print is a small-scale floral motif printed by hand on a cotton-linen ground, so each length carries the natural variation of the printing process. The design is drawn from traditional Indian block-print patterns, and the irregularities in registration and colour are part of its character rather than flaws.
Screen-printed by hand in India on a 55 per cent linen, 45 per cent cotton cloth, it is 137 centimetres wide with a 20-centimetre vertical repeat and a 27-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is also made as a wallpaper.
