Davis is a woven jacquard that reads as both chevron and stripe depending on where you stand, the diagonal inflection shifting as the light changes across the cloth. The pattern has a restrained geometry and comes in a palette of neutrals, so it holds a room without dominating it. The 8-centimetre vertical and 7-centimetre horizontal repeats keep the design compact and versatile.
Woven in Italy from cotton, polyester, polyamide, linen and wool, it is 142 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, where the chevron-stripe can be oriented to follow or counter the lines of a chair or sofa.
