Schumacher | Dawnridge

Dawnridge is a small-scale peacock-feather pattern named after the Los Angeles estate of the designer Tony Duquette, whose maximalist interiors are the design's starting point. The motif is stylised rather than literal, so it reads as much as geometry as ornithology, and the compact repeat allows it to sit comfortably in smaller rooms or as a backdrop rather than a statement.

Made in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 8 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 5 centimetres, sold by the metre from rolls of 4.113 metres. It is washable and supplied as a wallcovering.
