Dazzle Ship Velvet sets a three-colour geometric into cut velvet, the pattern shifting between figure and ground as the pile catches light from different angles. The effect recalls Op Art, though the scale is small and the repeat tight, so the design reads as an all-over texture rather than a statement motif.
Woven in Belgium, chiefly of cotton with polyester, it is 136 centimetres wide with a seven-centimetre vertical repeat and a 13-centimetre horizontal repeat. Intended for cushions and upholstery, it should be dry cleaned. The design is available in several colourways.
