Deja Stripe is a dobby-woven cotton with tie-dyed warp yarns, the stripe irregular and softly blurred where the dye has bled and shifted. The weave is textured, the surface alive with small variations, and the stripe reads as bands of colour rather than hard lines. It has the appearance of cloth made by hand.
Woven in India from pure cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of ten centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 34 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. The fabric suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and it layers well with other patterns where a textured stripe is needed.
