Delia takes its cue from a hand-blocked French paper of the 1700s, translating leaves and fronds into a softly graphic botanical that runs in multiple directions across the repeat. The pattern has a quiet, unforced presence, neither too insistent nor too recessive, and the screen-printing preserves a handmade quality.
Printed in the United States, it is 69 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of ten centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 17 centimetres. Sold by the metre from rolls of just over four metres, it is washable and available in three colourways. It suits rooms where a gentle, all-over pattern is wanted without strong directional emphasis.
