Den Appliqué takes abstracted architectural shapes—inspired by paper cutouts—and applies them to a cotton-linen ground, then picks out details in embroidery. Hadiya Williams's design has the irregular rhythm of a cityscape seen from above, the mid-scale grid loose enough to feel handmade rather than mechanical.
Made in India from linen, cotton and polyester, it is 130 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 40 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 65 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits upholstery, curtains, blinds and cushions, bringing both graphic interest and tactile relief to furniture and windows.
