Schumacher | Desna Embroidery

Desna Embroidery depicts a small forest of stylised trees stitched onto a natural ground, the motifs arranged in a loose, repeating pattern that suggests folk-art woodcuts. The embroidery gives the design a tactile, handworked character, and the compact scale means it sits comfortably on cushions or smaller upholstered pieces as well as curtains.

Made in India from a blend of cotton, linen and polyester, it is 137 centimetres wide with a vertical repeat of 38 centimetres and a horizontal repeat of 43 centimetres. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
