Dorothea Silk Velvet is a densely woven velvet with a silk pile on a cotton ground, the contrast between the two fibres creating a play of sheen and matte that shifts with the light. The pile is cut short and even, giving the cloth an almost pelt-like density and a tactile richness that works particularly well on upholstered furniture.
Woven in Italy from silk, cotton and polyester, it is 145 centimetres wide. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits upholstery and cushions, and is available in five colourways. Part of the Patterson Flynn collection for Schumacher.
