Schumacher | Dougal Damask

Dougal Damask is an Old World design woven with fanciful griffins, lions and floral motifs arranged in a traditional damask structure. The pattern works at a medium scale in a tonal palette, the figuring quiet enough to read as texture from a distance but richly detailed up close. It is woven in Italy on a traditional handloom, bringing dimension and a hand-worked character to the cloth.

The composition is 36 per cent cotton, 35 per cent linen and 29 per cent viscose, woven to 140 centimetres wide with a 65-centimetre vertical repeat and a 70-centimetre horizontal repeat. Dry cleaning is recommended. It suits curtain panels and upholstery as well as blinds and cushions, and is available in several colourways.
