Downtown is a small-scale geometric woven on a jacquard loom, its abstract forms arranged in a rhythmic pattern that produces a subtle horizontal stripe. Created in collaboration with Drusus Tabor, the design has a dry hand and a casual, textural character that reads as understated rather than formal.
Woven in India from pure cotton, it is 135 centimetres wide with an 18-centimetre vertical repeat and 12-centimetre horizontal. Dry cleaning is recommended. The cloth suits curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery, and is available in three colourways.
